We Day is an inspirational event that caters to the international charity Free The Children, which educates youth to embrace change. This annual event was attended by thousands of young people and students in Vancouver at the Rogers Arena on October 18. Some of our students from the We Day club attended this event and enjoyed appearances from popular artists such as Avril Lavigne and Hedley. There were also many other inspirational speakers like Spencer West, Kofi Annan and Martin Luther King III. At the end of this event, participants received little gift bags to help 'change'; they contained objects that ranged from sunglasses to pamphlets to penny bags.
