Last week our senior girls basketball team played against Earl Marriott in a nail biting game. With Earl Marriott in the lead after the second half it wasn't looking good for SD. The team had an amazing turn around for the end of the game. In the final seconds SD managed to make a shot that put them in the lead by one point. The crowd in the final 30 seconds was cheering for their teams to hold their defense or shoot. The game ended in a big win for the girls who were all ecstatic about the close game. Amazing game girls!

Last Saturday, on November 16th the senior boys football team had a very tough game in the playoffs, against Notre Dame. Kick off was at 7:30 at BC Place Stadium. Unfortunately the boys gave it their all but the final score 28-15 for Notre Dame. This may be due to the fact that some key players were unable to play due to injuries, including star quarterback. The boys had an amazing season winning every game, up until their last, congratulations boys! -Zara Fitzpatrick

Yesterday the senior boys rugby team, had their first game of the season at our home field, against Langley. With a big crowd out to watch the game, everyone was excited with high spirits. The moment the game began it was clear that Langley didn't have a chance at winning against SD. Defence did an outstanding job ending the game with a shut out! While Offence managed to get around the other teams defence multiple times, with ease. Everybody did an exceptional job and had the perfect game to start the season, keep it up boys!
