The Iron Trial

The Iron Trial is a part of a 5 fantasy book series written by  Holly Black and Cassandra Clare,  both are well-known fantasy authors.The story follows Callum Hunt as he is forced to attend the Magisterium, a school for magic, and learns about why his father always warned him to stay away from magic. I was very excited to read this as I have enjoyed the authors' books in the past, and I was not disappointed. There was imagery of the world created, with relatable characters and major plot twists. The book does have some similarities to Harry Potter, but I still really enjoyed it. I would recommend this book to someone looking for another fantasy world to immerse themselves in.
