![]() Before MTV, when disco sucked, when rock and roll was hip, a time when jeans were skin-tight and all mailboxes everywhere were at risk of being clubbed. May 28, 1976; the last day of school at Lee High School in the suburbs of Austin, Texas. When Kevin is busted for throwing a keg party, what will these anxious teenagers do with their evening? Meanwhile, a new get-together is being planned at the park. Full kegs and joints being passed from person to person; a teenage paradise. What is considered normal to seniors Pink, Don, and Benny, is new to naïf freshman Mitch Kramer. When Mitch starts hanging out with the seniors, a new experience awaits him every second of the night. This hilarious comedy will have you laughing harder than you’ve ever laughed; however, it is classified as a “stoner” movie, and much of the content is quite risqué as it is rated R (18+). If you’re too classy for cool, this film isn’t recommended for you. Starring Matthew McConaghey, Ben Affleck, and Parker Posey, this 1993 major motion picture ranked in 10th place on Entertainment Weekly magazine’s list of the 50 Best High School Movies of all time. The soundtrack features brilliant tracks from Aerosmith, Foghat, Deep Purple, KISS, Sweet, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, and the Runaways. Summer 1976, a time they’d never forget, if only they could remember! Dazed and Confused; see it with a bud! -Gabriella Hall
