![]() Critics say he is the next Bob Dylan, but Jake Bugg is also a rock artist. The 19 year-old from Nottingham, England released an album in October of 2012 filled with 14 amazing alternative/rock songs. His singles Two Fingers, Seen It All and Taste It have a rock background, while Lightning Bolt, Trouble Town and Country Song have a country vibe. His music is heavily influenced by The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Gallagher Brothers, Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan. Jake Bugg was brought up by two former musicians, and started to play the guitar at age 12. At age 16, he was already composing his own music. After BBC asked him to play at the 2011 Glastonbury Festival, he signed a contract with Mercury Records when he was 17. In February of this year, he was also nominated for British Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards along with Alt-J, Ben Howard, Jessie Ware and Rita Ora. I would highly recommend this artist if you are into rock, alternative and country. Here are two of his songs, Seen It All and Lightning Bolt. Tera Meschino
