From California, Cold War Kids Nathan Willet, Dann Gallucci, Matt Maust and Matt Aveiro make up this indie rock band, along with previous member Jonnie Russell. The band started playing in 2004, in Russell’s apartment. They released their first EP in 2005, and then while on tour, they finished two more in 2006. Later that summer, they signed a contract with Downtown records and soon released an LP. They wrote two more albums, Loyalty to Loyalty (2008) and Mine Is Yours (2011) and just finished their third, Dear Miss Lonely Hearts. Although they have received many mixed reviews, they have still produced some really catchy songs. I would recommend Cold War Kids to you if you like Grouplove, Ra Ra Riot or Local Natives.             Charlie Fink, Tom Hobden, Matt Owens, Fred Abbott and Michael Petulla are five indie folk rockers part of the English band Noah & the Whale. Although this is a less popular band, they are writing some really excellent music! They started playing in 2006, and released their first album, Peaceful, the World Lays Me Down, in 2008 after writing a few singles. The First Days of Spring was finished in 2009 and they wrote another album in 2011, titled Last Night on Earth. The Gay Rights Movement, a YouTube documentary, used the single The First Days of Spring, from their 2009 album. This gave over two million views to the song. Heart of Nowhere, their most recent album, was released in May. This is a fun summer band with some great songs, so be sure to keep an eye on them!

      First recognized in Camp Rock starring along side the Jonas Brothers, and then landing her own show, Sonny With A Chance, Demi Lovato rised to fame. Her popular album including the song 'Don't Forget', soon grew to a second album with her famous song Unbroken. Demi Lovato became an idol to many young girls when she publicly shared her story of her battle with depression, bipolar disorder, self harm addiction and an eating disorder. She overcame her battles and is now a very respected and talented singer. On May 14th, her new album 'Demi' will be released and with that; a song that I have been listening to on repeat for the past day. I saw her perform at We Day, and she was so inspirational. Demi Lovato has earned the respect for millions of fans, including myself, with her song 'Skyscraper' and now 'Warrior'. {video below}

        Avez-vous déjà entendu d’Indochine? C’est une groupe de musique Rock/New Wave de Paris, France. Indochine est une groupe plus vielle, formé en 1981, mais il continue à produire de la musique fantastique.  Il est enfin une des groupes de musiques françaises la plus prospère. Depuis leur commencement, la groupe a crée 12 albums, le dernier, Black City Parade, publié le 13 février 2013. De plus, le groupe a écrit un total de 19 singles. Indochine a beaucoup de chansons entrainantes, et voici mes préférés, Memoria et Little Dolls.
