![]() Freemantle, Australia has brought us an awesome indie rock/pop band called San Cisco. The band had a previous name of King George, but the members remained the same: Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo, Nick Garner and Scarlett Stevens. Although they are a newer band, formed in 2009, they play some really catchy indie tunes. If you are a fan of The Jungle Giants or Ball Park Music, then you will surely like this band. Since San Cisco’s formation, they have written three EP’s, Golden Revolver (2011), Awkward (2012) and Beach (2012), as well as an album, Awkward (2012). Take a listen to these two songs, Beach and Fred Astaire. Tera Meschino

![]() Two Door Cinema Club is an indie rock trio from Northern Island. The band is composed of Alex Trimble on vocals and rhythm guitar, Sam Halliday on lead guitar and Kevin Baird on bass. Two Door Cinema Club formed in 2007 and has since released an EP, Four Words to Stand On (2009), and two albums, Tourist History (2010) and Beacon (2012). Last october, they came to Vancouver for two shows, one of which I attended. They were fantastic live and they were really enthusiastic with the crowd. They are one of my favorite bands and if you ever have a chance to see them live, I would definitely recommended going. From their album Tourist History, Something Good Can Work and from Beacon, Sun.
