He walked through the deep undergrowth of the forest. The trail was faint, but it was still there. Hours and hours he had been walking. Walking to nowhere. His confidence was going down, even more so when he looked before him and there was a fork in the trail. He knew in the back of his mind either one of the paths must lead to somewhere. He thought of the possibilities. One trail could lead to the rest of his life, the other could lead to a new one. He thought of his wife, his kids, his family. Though the other option was that it lead to a new life. A life without worries, a life in a completely different place than where he was. No job, no taxes, no more stress. Just him and the wilderness. He thought about what his family and friends would think. They would get over him eventually. It would be like he was never there. Though, he would never know which trail was which. He took one step towards one side, then another, and another. Slowly but surely, the trail disappeared into the growth of the forest.
