After fundraising for more than a week, South Delta Secondary School scheduled the Terry Fox Run on a not so sunny Friday, September 27th, 2013. Student Council raised approximately $1050, donated from students and staff, a significant difference from last year's $600. Students ran or walked a 3 km route starting at the school, continuing up 6 Ave to English Bluff Rd and back down 8A Ave while being cheered on by Link Crew and Student Council representatives at allocated spots. Though the sound of squeaky shoes could be heard for the rest of the day, the rain did serve as some motivation for students to start running. Check out some of the photos below!
