To support Anti-Bullying Day this Wednesday, February 26th, Link Crew held a mini carnival in the Cafeteria though surprisingly, there wasn't much response. The music was pumping, the cotton candy machine was whirring, the booths were ready yet possibly only about 50 people passed through. And with a photo booth, a carnival game, a compliment wall and even the Delta Opposes Violence Everywhere committee handing out chocolate, it was expected that this event would be a success as was last year's. It couldn't have been a lack of knowledge with many windows painted, telling students about Anti-Bullying Day February 26th, announcements and the cafeteria filled with people buying their lunch so what was it? Some say that word of mouth would have been more effective. Others just weren't interested. All in all, the idea was a success but the outcome, not so much.
Photos from the photo booth can be seen online on Facebook or Instagram. The compliment wall has been resurrected on the bulletin board near the Main Hall. Aamenah Meghjee
